Description: Celebrate the start of summer, get a great workout & drink some beer while helping out the local Food Bank!
This fun evening Urban Obstacle Race coupled with the arrival of summer, Costume Contest, Summer Brewfest, Vancouver USA Marathon weekend and post-event festivities will create a wonderful community celebration while helping out the Clark County Food Bank.

You can do this event solo although it will be A LOT MORE FUN to do it with at least one buddy. Teams can be maximum of 4 adults. If you have more that 4 adults that you want on your team, you can still all do the event together, just split yourselves up into multiple teams.

Each person/team will get an envelope with a clue that will send you to one of 15 stations located throughout downtown and uptown Vancouver.

Once you arrive, you will be required to complete a challenge (physical or mental)

Once you complete the challenge at each station, you will get the next clue to direct you towards next station and a raffle ticket to be used for door prizes at end of night.

Multiple kids can join a team, they just need to be able to complete 3-6 miles of running/walking and various physical challenges.

Note: It is not required to complete all 15 stations. If you are mentally or physically tired, you can return to the start/finish area early and enjoy the festivities. Just know, you won’t get as many raffle tickets and experience all the stations.

You must get to each location by foot. You can use internet, Google, 411 and/or ask for verbal help if needed. If you are lost, you can go back to previous station to get a “One Time Free Pass” to help direct you to next location.

All stations will close at 7:00pm so you have 2 hours to hit all stations. Door prizes will be drawn at 7:30pm and all raffle tickets must be submitted by then to be eligible for prizes.

Note: Everyone will finish at Ester Short Park!

NEEDS: You will need a pen/pencil, a Smart phone so you can look things up and take photos, and $5 total per team just in case.

Notice: There are no refunds issued for your registration however, we do offer the opportunity to transfer your registration to next year's event or to transfer your registration to another participant on the waiting list. This transfer must happen at least 1 month before the event. After that it gets too crazy and we will be unable to process any transfers. Sorry, you'll be out of luck at that point! Most events don't allow transfers or refunds at all so this is a courtesy we offer to our participants. But please don't ask us to extend it within that one month before the event. If you knew how crazy it gets around here in that final month, you would understand the need for us to stay firm to the one month time-line.

If you are transferring your registration to someone else, you must let us know so we can update their contact info and family contacts in the event of an emergency. Anyone running under someone else's name will be disqualified and not eligible for an award.

Event Beneficiary:
The Clark County Food Bank
The Clark County Food Bank

As a grower, gleaner, and supplier of food, Clark County Food Bank partners with 29 local agencies and programs to serve the food insecure in our community. Donations allowed CCFB to distribute 3.9 million pounds of food last year, and over 10,000 food boxes each month to the hungry. That’s 33,000 people each month receiving help, 39% of which are children.

To address the root causes of hunger and food insecurity Clark County Food Bank educates clients and community members on the importance of healthy eating to cultivate good habits. Providing people with the knowledge, confidence, and skill to prepare nutritious and affordable meals significantly reduces their need for long term food assistance. Additionally the food bank works with dozens of local farmers to bring fresh produce into the emergency food system.

With the help of hundreds of committed volunteers, donors, and partners they provide emergency food relief and work to prevent long-term hunger in our community. “Alleviating Hunger and its Root Causes.” The Clark County Food Bank is helping our county, our community, our neighbors.
