Open House Ministries
The mission of this organization is “helping the homeless regain their independence and their lives.” They provide a home for families and single moms with half of their beds being filled with children. They provide case managers, work development and ethics training, clinical counseling, group therapy, childcare center and education, drug/alcohol treatment program, spiritual development, and more. There is no feeding program because they do not do anything for families that they can do for themselves. Each family lives in a self-contained apartment.
